roger lima interview

The Get Rad Crew sat down with Less Than Jake's Roger Lima and his band Rehasher for an exclusive interview about everything from the Greenhorn project to Howard J. Reynolds and everything in between. Thanks to Roger, Tony and Alex for giving us one hell of an interview and an even more amazing performance! A big shout out goes to The District Sanford for being so hospitable and to The Stranded Sailor Pub for having such a kick ass venue for live music. The Caffeinds, local rippers from Orlando, had an incredible set, as did Boy Muscle, an unbelievably talented all female band. If you haven't checked these bands out, you are dumb. Check out Rehasher's facebook page for upcoming shows. Also check out Boy Muscle on facebook and Caffeinds facebook page as well as instagram @caffeindsfl (just don't expect a hook up on guitar prices from Lance)

Also extra special thanks to The Get Rad Crew (Robbie Mecannic-videographer, Nate Garcia-photographer) and Steve Etchie with PFT Media (check the homies section) for sound and video production.

The boys in Grave Return

Off With Their Head's Ryan Young Interview.

Get Rad was out at Henao in Orlando for the Off With Their Heads acoustic show Sunday afternoon for an awesome matinee performance along with Seth Anderson, Debt Neglector and Expert Timing. The venue was a super cool spot, great staff and a good sounding room. Check out the pics from the show above. We also were able to catch up with OWTH lead singer Ryan Young after the show for probably the the funniest, most terrible interview you will ever see. The Get Rad Crew, after heavy deliberation, have decide to release the interview uncut or edited to show the quality of an official Get Rad interview sesh. Thanks to Ryan for being so cool throughout all of our technical difficulties! The OWTH set was just Ryan singing and playing acoustic guitar, joined on stage by only Seth Anderson, who also performed his own solo set and isn't a member of OWTH. Originally Stacey Dee from the Fat Wreck Chords band Bad Cop/Bad Cop was supposed to perform with Ryan Young but due to a health condition had to pull off the tour. The songs in Ryan's set were played powerfully and beautifully, leaving an unbelieve energy for long after his last song ended. The entire lineup were really really good and overall was an awesome day of music!
